3D Entertainment Summit Expands to New York City for CE Week June 21-22

The show that sold out in Los Angeles last September is debuting on the East Coast

Unicomm is bringing its popular 3D Entertainment Summit to New York City for the first time. The event, which sold out last year in Los Angeles, will focus on all aspects of 3D entertainment, including 3D video games. In addition, Unicomm will host a simultaneous NY Mobile Entertainment Summit on the same dates, June 21-22, at the same New York Hilton venue. Both events are Official Partners with CE Week in New York, which runs June 20-25, 2011 as part of a reciprocal partnership agreement. M. Night Shyamalin keynoted the September LA conference in the video below.

The 3D Entertainment Summit and the New York Mobile Entertainment Summit, scheduled for June 21-22 at the New York Hilton, are produced by The Bob Dowling Group and Unicomm in association with Variety. The highly interactive and discussion-driven format allows entertainment professionals the opportunity to gain practical insights and capitalize on the 3D explosion as well as the mobile revolution – all in one location. Bringing together a prestigious group of high-level entertainment, financial and corporate players, the Summits enable attendees to engage, debate and define the latest developments in the 3D and mobile marketplaces. With an unprecedented group of thought leaders, the Summits focus on how companies can monetize both 3D and mobile entertainment technologies.

CEA Line Shows and Digital Downtown Conference, the CE industry's annual mid-year conference and new technology showcase, this year expands to include a new citywide industry celebration, CE Week in New York. Running June 20-25, CE Week, presented by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), will feature independent conference programs, press conferences and networking events.

"Partnering with CE Week in New York allows us to expand the reach and depth of our events," said John Golicz, President and CEO of Unicomm, LLC. "CE Week's broad examination of the complex and relentlessly changing technology marketplace is perfectly complementary to our more pointed focus: to examine the effects of the 3D phenomenon on the film, television and gaming industries as well as the revolution in mobile entertainment options and strategies."

As part of the agreement, CE Week has been named an Official Industry Partner for the 3D Entertainment Summit and the New York Mobile Entertainment Summit.
