Fans of Assassin's Creed have no doubt been enjoying the latest chapter in the series, Revelations, with its twisting new storyline and its great new opportunities to take out your friends in multiplayer. No target is safe from the game's suave assassination abilities and exciting gameplay. Well, today, Ubisoft announced that it is expanding the universe with an all new map pack, set to drop on January 24th.
Titled the Mediterranean Traveler pack, this add-on will introduce six new maps to the game. Straight from the press release...
Players can journey to the majestic holy city of Jerusalem, the opulent imperial district of Constantinople and the colourful mercantile district of Dyers. Fans of the franchise can also revisit favourite Italian Renaissance maps from Assassin's Creed® Brotherhood specifically requested by Assassin's Creed players to be included in the pack. To start, players will explore the historic city of Firenze (Florence), then travel to the mountains of San Donato and visit night-time Siena with its carnival lights, talented performers and deadly hiding spots.
Each map offers prime new opportunities to take out your friends in multiplayer across various modes, while keeping your assassination skills in check and letting enemies have it the way they deserve -- with a knife to the neck (or whatever really suits you, you know).
The Mediterranean Traveler pack hits both Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network on January 24th, and will set you back $7.99. Plenty of time to get those weapons sharpened.
