LAS VEGAS -- After landing a spot on the Top 10 Gadget list of the last year’s Consumer Electronics Show and spending a whole year in research and development, MSI style was on display at CES 2010 in Las Vegas. MSI exhibit its full range of 2010 notebook and All-in-One (AIO) computers, including G Series gaming notebooks, GE Series entertainment notebooks, C Series classic style notebooks, all featuring the latest generation Intel platforms, the popular ultra-thin X-Slim Series with the new Microsoft Windows 7 operating system, the stylish Wind U Series netbooks, and the Wind Top AIO computer.
At last year's CES, MSI displayed its full range of notebook and AIO computers. Among them was the MSI Wind U115, which received favorable reviews and earned a spot on the all-important CES Top 10 Gadget list. Earning one of the final 10 spots on this highly competitive list gave the company momentum heading into this year.
MSI Notebook Marketing Director Sam Chern said that this year MSI will reveal notebook and AIO computers with all-new features, including G Series gaming notebooks, GE Series entertainment notebooks, and C Series classic style notebooks in coordination with Intel's latest technology. In addition, many Wind U Series netbook models featuring the latest Intel platform were on display.
Chern said that the MSI G Series notebooks are among the most powerful on the planet. With Intel's latest generation quad-core CPU platform, the G Series has allowed Team EG, the world-famous gaming team, to vanquish countless opponents in international competitions and accumulate enough points to earn a number one ranking. At last year's CES, MSI also unveiled its ultra-thin X-Slim notebooks. This year, MSI will continue to exhibit even more stylish and high performance models, including the 13" X350, the 14" X420, and the 15.6" X620.
In the netbook segment, the MSI Wind U Series has already realized massive sales of over 1 million units globally, so MSI had a special one-millionth classic edition netbook activity and also displayed the 10" U135 and the U160. These netbooks all feature the latest generation CPU platform from Intel with the choice of 3.5G or WiMAX connectivity, with the U160's exterior retaining its popular ultra-thin, stylish design.
MSI displayed seven models from its Wind Top Series AIO computers with displays ranging from 19" to 24". The 24" AE2400 not only has the latest multi-touch display and Windows 7 operating system, it also has equally outstanding video display and sub-woofer surround sound audio capability. During the show, a specially created exhibition environment showcased the AIO's high performance multimedia functionality, stylish applications, and superior performance.
