Clear, previously known as ClearWire, offers gamers a fast, mobile online gaming experience that rivals gaming from a wired broadband Internet connection with its new 4G WiMax mobile broadband service. With speeds of up to 6 Megabits per second download and 1 Megabit per second upload, gamers can truly bring their game mojo on the road without fear of getting fragged because their connection was too slow. Combined with some of the hot new mobile gaming notebooks such as the new Alienware M11x or Asus G51J, Clear is clearly the best option for gamers on the go.

Clear is currently available in more than 30 U.S. cities including Austin, Atlanta, Chicago, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Philadelphia and Seattle with more cities being added throughout this year and next. What sets it apart from other broadband services is that Clear requires no contract and allows users the ability to stop and start service on a monthly basis. The 4G WiMax service runs $45 per month with no contract required and unlimited data. A special of $30 per month for the first six months for online customers that order thru the Clear website. 4G+ Mobile service runs $55 per month with no contract required with unlimited data for the 4G service and a 5GB/month data limit on the 3G service. While the service is similar to Sprint’s 3G/4G service, it is $5 per month cheaper from Clear. An activation fee of $35 applies for month-to-month customer and is waived with 2 year commitments.
