Gamescom, Germany's biggest gaming event and one that the world will certainly be keeping an eye on, will be unfolding in a matter of hours, and Namco Bandai has already gotten a jump start on the event by introducing a new trailer for its latest weapons-based fighting game, SoulCalibur V. And yes, the soul still burns for this one...
Though the trailer runs pretty brief -- about a minute and a half at best -- it does include a cavalcade of characters that will be featured in the game, as well as some of their weaponized abilities and what kind of damage they can do to opponents. It also has that great dramatic tone that folks have gotten used to with SoulCalibur over the years, setting the stage for epic battle when the game ships for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next year.
But don't take our word for it. See the trailer for yourself!
