Last week marks the week of numerous boxes of chocolate being consumed, roses being delivered, and all of that lovey dovey stuff thanks to a little day called Valentine's Day. Surely, plenty of people are probably still feeling a bit hyper thanks to all of that sugar their loved one gave them as a gift. There could be no better timing for a new DLC map for Modern Warfare 3, giving people a chance to expend all of that excess energy learning a brand new map and making an example of other players.
The new map is called "Overwatch," set above a high-rise in NYC that is still currently under construction. From what it appears, the map is very flexible, containing plenty of open space and sightlines across the construction, as well as some smaller pathways formed by some of the rooms still being built. Don't forget that this map is only a few thousand feet up in the air, so there is always the danger of falling off of the map! It also should be noted that the sky is rather open in this map, so aerial killstreaks should be rather effective here compared to other maps like Arkaden.
Overwatch is set to drop on XBox Live tomorrow, February 21 for all Call of Duty Elite subscribers. PSN who have yet to receive any DLC will start their content season the following week, featuring the first two maps released in January - Liberation and Piazza.
