Even the most powerful man in the world has to find some time for Christmas shopping. President Barack Obama checked out the videogame section of Best Buy in Virginia to pick up Ubisoft’s Just Dance 3 for the Wii. This is the latest game to be added to the Presidential Wii Collection at the White House. Obama’s daughters Malia and Sasha play Wii, making the White House a First Gaming Family.
“In case you all are wondering, Just Dance for the Wii,” said Obama to the crowd of Christmas shoppers. “The girls beat me every time on these various dance games. And you'll never get a picture of me [playing] because I get graded F every time."
The Just Dance franchise has been a huge hit for Ubisoft. People spend a collective 9.4 million minutes playing Just Dance 3 each day around the world. That's 17 years of non-stop dancing every day. The number of Just Dance 3 players since launch is equal to the attendance of 84 Bonnaroo music festivals. People around the world have earned a total of 674 million stars while playing Just Dance 3. The stars earned in the game would fill up 337,000 Hollywood Walks of Fame.
