Fresh from the slopes of Vancouver 2010, American Olympic gold medalist Shaun White is now taking on Tony Hawk head-to-head. Ubisoft announced the creation of Shaun White Skateboarding, a videogame in development with dual-sport professional athlete and two-time Olympic gold medalist, Shaun White. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Shaun White Skateboarding will arrive this Fall.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Before Cain Velasquez defeated Minotauro Nogueira by knockout in the first round at UFC 110 in Sydney, Australia, UFC fighters were on hand for the first gameplay unveiling of THQ and Zuffa’s UFC Undisputed 2010. The first game has sold over 3.5 million copies and the second title is coming out May 25 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PSP.

Shaun White once again dominated the halfpipe at the Winter Games. At Vancouver 2010, just like in Torino 2006, White took home the gold medal for the United States. His first run was so impressive that he was able to use his second run to entertain the crowd, pulling off the first-ever double McTwist 1260. When he’s not competing on a snowboard or skateboard, White can be found playing videogames. And these days, he spends almost as much time making games like Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage for Wii with Ubisoft’s Montreal Studio as he does just chilling on his Xbox 360. LAS VEGAS -- THQ and Zuffa announced the first gameplay details surrounding UFC Undisputed 2010, the follow-up to the critically and commercially acclaimed debut videogame based on the Ultimate Fighting Championship.  Poised to deliver intelligent and intuitive combat, increased fighter customization, robust career progression, challenging new gameplay modes and explosive online offerings, UFC Undisputed 2010 is currently in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PSP. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will ship May 25, 2010, while the PSP system version is scheduled for release later this year.

Activision's latest game may retail for $120 because of the skateboarding peripheral, but Tony Hawk: RIDE is so easy even a dog can play it. Check out this video of a bulldog, who happens to skate in real life, as he performs tricks and moves on the Xbox 360 version of the new game. We're assuming he's playing on easy, but given that this dog also knows how to ride a real board, this video may show the game's authenticity.

While Tony Hawk took a breather from his bestselling videogame franchise at Activision, Electronic Arts entered the skating arena and had a pair of next gen hits with SKATE 1 and 2 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and SKATE IT for Wii. Now EA is putting the wheels on SKATE 3 for 2010.
