While January got off to a slow start, it quickly recovered to bring us high quality tittles through digital distribution. Plenty of great downloadable arcade tittles were made available through XBLA, PSN and Steam, giving us many hidden gems on the digital marketplace. The PS Vita game allows players to connect online to share and play any creations from both the PS3 game and the new travel-sized version. Gamers can quickly create karts and tracks and then jump into competitive ad hoc races against friends (there’s on online racing support). The no-grav racer series has been rather quiet these past few years, its sole current-generation title (<em>WipeOut HD</em>) originally released as a PSN-only title.
