The Maxis Label of Electronic Arts has unleashed The Sims 3 Supernatural Expansion Pack at retailers nationwide and for digital download on PC and Mac. In The Sims 3 Supernatural, players will experience the madness of the werewolves’ full moon, the menace of vampires, the magic of witches, and the mischief of fairies as they explore the new world of Moonlight Falls. Intoxicating magic and spellbinding surprises await players as they fully embody a supernatural life, playing as new types of Sims with mysterious powers and enchanting traits.

Signal Studio, the makers of the hit videogame franchise Toy Soldiers, is bringing the hot free-to-play gaming phenomenon to consoles with the upcoming action RPG, Ascend: New Gods. The new game will be available on Xbox LIVE in early 2013.

Battlefront.com has released Fortress Italy, a new installment to their famous warfare simulation franchise, Combat Mission. Available on PC and Mac OS X, the game initially takes the player trough the World War II struggle in Sicily in a stand-alone version that can be played from the American, Italian or German flank.

On August 5, NASA's most technologically advanced rover, Curiosity, will make its final descent to Mars' Gale Crater near Mount Sharp, where scientists believe water once flowed. NASA launched Mars Rover Landing, a new video game that allows players to take control of Curiosity's descent to the Martian surface, as an educational tool and to help create excitement around this uniquely challenging mission.
