Following the record launch of Madden NFL 13 and strong sales of NHL 13, EA Sports FIFA Soccer 13 has launched to unprecedented opening day sales in North America with 353,000 games sold for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. With three NBA All-Stars on the cover of NBA 2K13, 2K Sports is making the most of its leading men. The sports game publisher has released a new digital film starring Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers. Griffin shares his NBA 2K13 MyPLAYER with the world. A series of innovative schools in California, Florida and Wisconsin are the first recipients of the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) Foundation’s Education Challenge Grant. COLOGNE, Germany – The Gamescom Awards are the most coveted prizes in the European games industry and an accolade for outstanding software and hardware.
