Back in 2010, Batista was humilated by WWE poster boy John Cena as he tied his legs with duct tape to the turnbuckle which left Batista unable to get up from the referee's ten count. Now, you can take control of Batista as he returns to the WWE roster in THQ's WWE '12 and beat the crap out of John Cena. You know, like every 18-24 year old male WWE fan wants to do on a weekly basis.

Michel Ancel, celebrated creator of Rayman, Beyond Good & Evil and the Raving Rabbids returns to his roots with Rayman Origins, a new four-player co-op platform game for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii. One of the big family games of 2011 can be seen in action in the exclusive video below.

Nintendo is celebrated the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda video game series in style with a symphony concert at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. The concert included songs from the iconic series hand-picked by Nintendo composer Koji Kondo and his team. A full concert tour for The Legend of Zelda will launch in 2012.

THQ has revealed new details on its completely revamped Road to Wrestlemania career mode in its upcoming WWE 12 game, which ships November 22 across game platforms. The new WWE title promises a bigger game, badder presentation and better simulation-based gameplay. Things are going very badly for NBA fans as more games are expected to be canceled and the entire season is in jeopardy. But for gamers, 2K Sports is offering more virtual hoops action through the downloadable add-on for NBA 2K12. Legends Showcase will be available this fall for $9.99 via PlayStation Network and for 800 Microsoft Points via Xbox Live Marketplace.

In celebration of Sonic the Hedgehog’s 20th Anniversary and his upcoming videogame, Sonic Generations, Sega has teamed up with action sports event producer ASA Entertainment for Sonic Generations of Skate. The event will feature three generations of professional skaters competing throughout the Sonic-themed day. On Saturday, October 22, Sonic and skateboarding fans will descend on Venice Beach, California (on the basketball courts near Muscle Beach), the iconic location where performance skateboarding planted its roots. Viewers at home will also be able to catch all the action on Fox Sports Network on Friday, November 25th.

French game publisher Ubisoft is further extending its reach into Hollywood entertainment. The game maker is producing its first animated TV series, which is based on its bestselling “Rabbids” videogame franchise. Nickelodeon has secured global broadcast rights for the series, excluding France. “Rabbids” will debut in 2013 as 26 half-hour episodes across Nickelodeons global channels.
