SAN DIEGO – Actor Daniel Cudmore is a big guy. He’s literally the same size as the real Master Chief, which made stepping into the armor a bit more natural for the big guy. The one glitch in the outfit designed by 343 Industries was that it was so bulky he wasn’t able to actually drive the replica Warthog that was built for the Vancouver, British Columbia shoot. Michael Phelps has earned the final gold medal of his career – his 18th -- in the 4 x 100-meter medley relay at London 2012. Kevin Murphy is best known for turning ABC’s TV series “Desperate Housewives” into a hit. Now the television producer has turned his attention to “Defiance” on Syfy Channel. The new series, which launches in April 2013, was developed by Murphy and game publisher Trion Worlds to cross mediums.
