CHICAGO, Illinois -- Peter Berg has come a long way in Hollywood, having achieved success as a writer, director and actor in both television (“Friday Night Lights,” “Chicago Hope”) and film (Hancock, Friday Night Lights). For his latest challenge, Berg entered the world of commercials and videogames in one swoop. The director was in Chicago to film the TV spot for 2K Sports’ most recent arcade baseball game, The Bigs 2. Berg took a break from his first experience using the new RED cameras to talk about his own background in videogames and why the convergence between Hollywood and games has yet to yield the same type of success as comic books or novels in this exclusive interview.
