The second we laid eyes on the first gameplay footage of Borderlands 2 last August at PAX Prime, we knew we were in for something special.  Gearbox Software not only includes all the components that made the original “role-playing shooter” such a vast success, but also made incredible pushes forward in other areas.  Along with literally a “bazillioner” guns included (they even stacked them up in one part of the demo to show us how much was in there), they threw in new characters, bigger outdoor environments and a whole lot of trouble.  And the best part, we’re gonna be partaking in this madness during the first month of fall.

Yesterday, EA released a new trailer for Mass Effect 3, and if that wasn't enough, released an extended version of the trailer earlier today. Amongst all of the trailers, a little bit of news snuck in regarding the highly-anticipated 3rd entry in the franchise. On March 6, PS3 owners will have the option of buying the game on Blu-ray or download it directly to their console.

It’s been a long winding road for SSX, initially getting an introduction back in 2010 as SSX: Deadly Descents and eventually shaping back into the full-fledged over-the-top snowboarding experience we’ve come to love in previous games on the PlayStation 2 and Xbox.  But the game finally arrives next week, so many will say that it definitely has been worth it.  However, you won’t need to wait to give it a go, as a very extensive demo is now available on Xbox Live, and set to hit PlayStation Network later today.  We decided to give it an early run to give you an idea what to expect.

No matter what we may do to try to prevent something from happening, sometimes there is just nothing we can do. Commander Shepard has put so much effort into fighting off the Reapers, even going so far as having to be resurrected for round 2. However, it is only a matter of time before the inevitable will happen, and gamers will put their best efforts forth in preventing the universe from being taken over by them. As good a distraction as Transformers: Dark of the Moon was on Xbox 360 and PS3 last year, it just didn’t measure up to the monstrosity that came out a year before, the boldly original War For Cybertron.  Featuring a great new storyline, thrilling action and strong multiplayer, the game was a must for fans of Hasbro’s long-running franchise.  High Moon Studios recognizes this, and recently invited us down to Las Vegas to get a first glimpse at the upcoming sequel, Fall of Cybertron, which is introducing some bigger players into the picture – literally.

Following his unexpected death, Ubisoft has been looking to tribute Michael Jackson with its line-up of dance games.  And while they’ve been popular in certain circles, not everyone could get into Michael Jackson: The Experience, despite the cavalcade of songs from the King of Pop’s collection.  Maybe it was just trying to even come close to mimicking the guy that was the challenge.  The PlayStation Vita version, launching with the system this week, takes a different approach, but its limitations end up working against it.

With over 150 fighters, seven weight classes and an assortment of MMA fighting styles, there’s a lot of depth in UFC Undisputed 3. The game’s producer, Neven Dravinski, has spent years playing the new game. He’s the Ultimate Fighting Championship expert.
