Actor Milo Ventimiglia became a household name as Peter Petrelli in NBC’s hit TV series, “Heroes.” He parlayed that fame to the big screen, playing Sylvester Stallone’s son Rocky Balboa. These days, the actor is all about the Marvel comic book universe. He’s providing the voice of Logan in the new animated Wolverine TV series. And he’s bringing a brand new mutant to life in Activision’s X-Men Legacy video game. The actor talks about his new role in the video below.

Actress Ashley Eckstein, who’s married to former MLB star David Eckstein, has been keeping busy in the video game space. The actress voices Ahsoka Tano in Cartoon Networks’ hit computer animated TV series, “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.” She’s also brought that character to life in a slew of Clone Wars video games, including LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Republic Hero. Comic-Con 2011 packed plenty of little surprises within its halls, including several new comic book enterprises, plenty of cool merchandise, and a few celeb signings we didn't see coming.  But we'll be honest -- nothing could've prepared us for Abobo's Big Adventure, an 8-bit game that will soon be released for Flash play (no charge) over at AbobosBigAdventure.com.

Steven Spielberg made his first trek to San Diego for Comic-Con this year. He was joined on a panel for The Adventures of TinTin: The Secret of the Unicorn by producer Peter Jackson, who flew in from the set of The Hobbit. Based on a popular European comic book franchise, the first of three TinTin movies will hit theaters this Christmas. There’s also a new video game from Ubisoft that will be out this fall in tandem with the live action/computer-generated film. Jackson and Spielberg talk about the new 3D movie in the video below.

Actress Jamie Chung is part of the all-star cast that’s voicing Activision’s newest X-Men video game. Chung plays mutant Aimi Yoshidi in the new game from Silicon Knights. The actress, who most recently was seen in The Hangover Part II, talks about her work in the video game in the video below.

As the successor to one of the most successful PC role-playing game franchises of all time, the upcoming Guild Wars 2 is one of the most highly anticipated titles in its genre. The game promises to build off the stunning visuals, massive role playing environments, innovative combat mechanics, dynamic events and personal storytelling innovations that fans are already excited for. At San Diego Comic-Con 2011, the ArenaNet team demonstrated the recently announced engineer profession and Underwater Combat areas, along with the opportunity to for fans to begin their journey in the icy highlands of the Norn race starting zone.

There were plenty of risqué costumes at Comic-Con. San Diego becomes a hotbed of Slave Leia outfits from Star Wars and cosplay babes. But normally the Con is fine with these Wonder Women and other scantily-clad outfits. It seems the line has been drawn at Aeon Flux, though, as Playboy model and reality TV star Adrianne Curry was escorted out of the convention for wearing too little. It seems the police didn’t want to have an onslaught of fan boy heart attacks. You can check out Curry’s outfits and judge for yourself below.

One of the highlights for our trip to Comic-Con this year was attending the panel for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, set for release on PlayStation 3 this November.  The panel included the likes of behind-the-scenes folks at Naughty Dog, including Amy Hennig herself, as well as voice talent such as Nolan North and Emily Rose.  It was a delightful sit-in, and not just because of a shirt giveaway.  But, hey you can see for yourself.

Assassin’s Creed Embers, a new computer-generated animated short movie, will ship when Assassin’s Creed Revelations hits store shelves on November 15. STARZ hit television show Spartacus returned to Comic Con for its third consecutive year to introduce their new season, Spartacus: Vengeance. After a hugely successful first season (Spartacus: Blood and Sand) and a brilliant half-season "prequel" series (Spartacus: Gods of the Arena), STARZ is coming back with a vengeance. "It's just a gigantic, gigantic season", said new Spartacus actor Liam McIntyre.
