Sony Ericsson Launches Xperia PLAY Phone Internationally with 60 Games
Sony Ericsson’s Xperia PLAY, the world’s first PlayStation certified smartphone, is now on sale in shops in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Hong Kong and Taiwan  with further availability in an additional six markets over the next 2 weeks. The Xperia PLAY launches with more than 60 games from the industry’s biggest content providers including Sony Computer Entertainment, Gameloft, Electronic Arts and Glu Mobile. The range of games available to download at launch is a combination of original PlayStation titles and mobile games that take the full advantage of the graphical capabilities and controls of Xperia PLAY. There will also be a plethora of casual games optimized for the unique game pad.

Mobile World Congress 2011: Glu Mobile Shows Off Guitar Hero on Sony Ericsson Xperia Play Phone
BARCELONA, Spain – Sony Ericsson teased the world with a first look at the new Xperia Play (aka PlayStation Phone) during Super Bowl XLV with a commercial. At Mobile World Congress 2011,the phone maker will unveil all of the details of the new gaming phone at a gala launch event press conference on February 13. Mobile World Congress 2011: Verizon Wireless Gets First Dibs on Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play this March
BARCELONA, Spain – Gamers waiting for the PlayStation Phone will be able to jump into games like The Sims 3, Guitar Hero and a multiplayer-exclusive FIFA 10 this March when Verizon Wireless launches the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. Sony Ericsson unveiled the new device and a full line-up of games to celebrate the start of Mobile World Congress 2011. There will be 50 games available at launch, including 10 from Gameloft. Sony did not disclose the pricing on hardware or games at the press conference.

CES 2010: Palm Pre Gets 3D Games from EA, Gameloft

LAS VEGAS – With Apple dominating the portable games space thanks to its App Store and thousands of videogames, Palm used CES 2010 to go virtual. At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Palm showed off 3D games for its Palm webOS platform. Palm has partnered with leading mobile game developers like EA Mobile, Gameloft, Glu Mobile, and Laminar Research to bring the first batch of games to its Palm Pre customers. Demonstrated at Palm's CES event, the games are now available in the Palm App Catalog for Palm Pre customers.
