WonderCon 2011: The Biggest Names in Hollywood and Games Converge in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO – Over 39,000 fans of movies, comics, anime and video games are expected to converge at the Moscone Center in San Francisco this weekend to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of WonderCon. Although smaller than San Diego Comic-Con, WonderCon has A-list celebrities making the rounds this weekend. Ryan Reynolds will debut new footage from Warner Bros.’ 3D summer comic book movie, Green Lantern, Friday evening. Director Jon Favreau will talk about his new comic adaptation for Universal Pictures, Cowboys & Aliens, on Saturday. Paul Bettany and Lily Collins will discuss Screen Gems’ 3D adaptation of the post apocalyptic graphic novel, Priest, on Saturday. New Superman actor Henry Cavill will be on a panel with Kellan Lutz, Luke Evans and Isabel Lucas to debut Relativity’s Immortals.
