One of the big games of 2012 comes from Ubisoft Montreal, Ubisoft Shanghai and Massive Entertainment. Far Cry 3, which was announced at E3, is in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The new game introduces Jason Brody, a man alone at the edge of the world, stranded on a mysterious tropical island. In this savage paradise where lawlessness and violence are the only sure thing, players dictate how the story unfolds, from the battles they choose to fight to the allies or enemies they make along the way. As Jason Brody, players will slash, sneak, detonate and shoot their way across the island in a world that has lost all sense of right and wrong. WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT – With the economy bouncing back and more people going on vacation, Disney is expanding its realm of theme parks. Al Weiss, President of Worldwide Operations for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, was on hand at Walt Disney World for the debut of The Magic Kingdom’s newest attraction, “The Magic, the Memories and You.” The new show uses animation, digital photography, lights and pyrotechnics to tell a 10-minute story each night that’s projected on Cinderella’s Castle. Weis announced that construction is underway for Shanghai Disneyland and that Hong Kong Disneyland has three new themed lands in development.

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is one of the big games of 2010. IO Interactive, part of Square Enix Europe, has unveiled new details on the sequel to the shooter that’s spawned a big budget Hollywood movie starring Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx. In addition to the dense and unrelenting single-player campaign, the incredibly popular multiplayer is back with expanded Fragile Alliance gameplay and three new modes to brutally tempt, sway and cloud your better judgment.
