Bryce Harper, the 19-year old top ranked baseball phenom, will make has long awaited major league debut today for the Washington Nationals against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodgers Stadium.  Harper, the top prospect in the majors as ranked by Baseball America the last two seasons, will play left field and bat seventh. Harper was called up from Class AAA Syracuse Friday after the injury bug hit Mike Morse and Ryan Zimmerman. We caught up with Bryce before the season to talk about his experience thus far as a professional and his love of video games in this exclusive video interview.

REYKJAVIK -- Thousands of EVE Online fans have converged on the island nation of Iceland located 65 degrees North of the equator and they were in for a treat as CCP Games revealed a lot more about their upcoming console MMOFPS DUST 514. During the DUST 514 keynote speech, CCP developers showed off a "Shock and Awe" style coordinated orbital bombardment of a DUST battlefield by an EVE player in realtime. CCP also showed off the orbital command center and surface command centers which enable communication between the two games as well as the orbital artillery that lets DUST players retaliate against EVE players in orbit. It was an amazing first look at what CCP is envisioning in its innovative EVE and DUST 514 hybrid gameplay. We talked to DUST 514 Executive Producer Brandon Laurino to get more insight and details about DUST 514 in this exclusive video interview.

REYKJAVIK -- CCP Games kicked off EVE Fanfest, its annual fan confab it dubs "Party at the Top of the World" here in Reykjavik, Iceland, the northern most capital in the world, by letting thousands of its adoring fans on hand here in Iceland to see and play DUST 514 for the first time. DUST 514, a first person shooter which CCP calls a MMOFPS that is directly tied to its EVE Online MMO universe, and is CCP's first console game that will launch exclusively on the Sony Playstation 3 later this year. We caught up with David Reid, CCP Games new CMO, to give us some more insight as to what to expect from DUST 514 in this exclusive video interview.

Blizzard Entertainment today released a lot of new details today about the fourth expansion of its "World of Warcraft" franchise it announced at the last BlizzCon, "World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria." BARCELONA -- On the first day of Mobile World Congress here in Barcelona, SEGA showed Sonic the Hedgehog for the first time on a tablet powered by NVIDIA's quad core Tegra 3. Called Sonic the Hedgehog 4, Episode II, the new mobile game will launch some time in the Spring this year. It will come out first exclusively for NVIDIA Tegra-powered smartphones and tablets in NVIDIA's Tegra Zone before rolling out onto other Android devices after. We got a first hand look at the blue wonder doing his thing on the Tegra 3-powered Asus Transformer Prime tablet in this exclusive video.

INDIANAPOLIS -- The NY Giants beat the New England Patriots again 27-24 again in a squeaker according to the Madden NFL 12 video game from EA Sports based on its virtual simulation of Super Bowl XLVI on Madden. Madden NFL 12 is the de facto, and only, football video game for the NFL season.  Fans have been playing like crazy for the past few months, wondering where the season was going to end up. This Sunday it culminates in a match-up that will pit Brady, going for his fourth Super Bowl ring, along with his favorite target Gronkowski against Eli Manning and his Giants, in the Circle City of Indianapolis. INDIANAPOLIS -- The Circle City isn't just home to Super Bowl XLVI this year, it's also home to Madden Bowl XVIII and the next best thing to winning the Super Bowl for NFL players is to win the Madden Bowl. Jacksonville Jaguars' running back Maurice Jones-Drew knows a thing or two about the Madden Bowl, having won Madden Bowl XVI in Miami a couple of years ago. He's gone on to add the NFL rushing title to his trophy case with 1,606 rushing yards this year. His competitive fire also bleeds through to fantasy football where he is an avid fantasy football player and also hosts his own radio show on XM Sirius titled Runnin' with MJD just talking about fantasy football talk and strategy. This guys loves football no matter if its for real, virtual or fantasy. We caught up with Jones-Drew on the EA Sports' Blue Carpet at the Bud Light Hotel in downtown Indianapolis where Jones-Drew talks about how he's got the bragging rights as the best Madden NFL football player in the NFL. About 20 years ago or so, we didn't have the luxury of the Internet for video game news, or videos to show us just what was happening in the industry and with gameplay.  We had to rely on good old fashioned magazines to tell us what was happening, publications such as Electronic Gaming Monthly.  Among one of the more popular magazines on the market was Gamepro, which catered to all audiences, casual and hardcore, in keeping folks up with the times of the video game industry.  It's been doing good ever since...but sadly, its days are numbered.

Twihards came out in force at midnight screenings at over 3,521 theaters last night as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 grossed $30.3 million at so-called Twihard screenings matching the approximately $30 million that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse earned at midnight screenings in June 2010 and better than the $26.3 million New Moon pulled in at midnight in 2009. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 holds the midnight record earning $43.5 million earlier this year at its midnight screenings on its way to a record-setting $169.2 million opening weekend. Movie industry experts expect Breaking Dawn to  gross up to $150 million this opening weekend. This, of course, all pales in comparison to video games where Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 grossed approximately $400 million on its first day and $775 million in its first five days. We talked to some of the cast and crew of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 at the world premiere of the movie in downtown Los Angeles earlier this week. ANAHEIM -- After the Costume Contest at BlizzCon, comedian Jay Mohr kept the hits coming with the Intel Dance Contest. 31 competitors took the stage with a lot of interesting (and sometimes embarrasing) interpretations of various dances like the Goblin. With names like orc, troll and dwarf, you know this is a BlizzCon dance contest. Check out Mohr introducing the winners with highlights of each winner's dances after the break.

ANAHEIM -- Blizzard held the popular NVIDIA Costume Contest on the main stage at BlzzCon. There were a lot of cool costumes but Avery Faith and her Starcraft II Adjutant costume took the big prize. Comedian Jay Mohn congratulated Faith on her amazing costume as well as the two runner-ups. Christopher White took second place with his Paladin with Ashbringer costume and Justin Floyd took third place with his Deathwing costume. Amidst news of a buggy beta and even journalists running into their fair share of glitches, I went into my hands-on with Battlefield 3's multiplayer, featuring the Grand Bazaar and Operation Firestorm maps, unsure of what to expect. I had to wonder if it was as bad as the naysayers were making it out to be? Once I saw for myself, I was pleased to find my worries were completely unfounded.

Epic Games President Mike Capps was on stage at today’s Apple iPhone 4S launch to show off its much anticipated sequel to its Infinity Blade game, Infinity Blade 2. The Infinity Blade 2 demo showed off the iPhone 4S’ new A5 dual-core processor with improved graphics acceleration. Developed by Epic’s Salt Lake City-based Chair Entertainment studio, Infinity Blade 2 will be a much bigger game compared to its ancestor, which sold over 5 million copies in its first 10 months. It will have much larger maps and cool new creatures and villains to fight. We talked exclusively to Chair Entertainment Creative Director Donald Mustard about what we can expect from the upcoming Infinity Blade 2 game in this exclusive video interview at Chair’s downtown Salt Lake City studios.

Nintendo 3DS is back on track after the price drop from $250 to $170. With sales soaring, the company is offering more than just 3D games. Nintendo has joined forces with top entertainment companies to provide 3D videos for the portable Nintendo 3DS system. The Nintendo Video service already delivers fun, entertaining 3D videos, and now that content will be enhanced with additional videos from DreamWorks Animation SKG, 3net and Blue Man Group. The videos, like all 3D content on Nintendo 3DS, can be viewed without the need for special glasses.

Party's are fun. They are substantially less fun if all the participants are dead. Even so, X-SEED's Corpse Party is looking to be a real treat. Remade for the PSP, this 2D adventure game has players exploring an abandoned elementary school haunted by the ghosts of murdered children.
