Consoles and PC's have had a slow month interms of new AAA quality games arriving for your respected platform. While January got off to a slow start, it quickly recovered to bring us high quality tittles through digital distribution. Plenty of great downloadable arcade tittles were made available through XBLA, PSN and Steam, giving us many hidden gems on the digital marketplace. Let's look back at the games we reviewed over the past month.  

All right WWE fans. If you're not excited for WWE '12 yet--then what in the world is wrong with you? THQ has pulled out all the stops this year--nabbing the likes of Brock Lesnar and Batista for the title. Today, THQ announced that the hardcore legend Mick Foley will be available as future DLC for WWE '12.

LOS ANGELES – WWE Diva Natalya is part of a long line of Canadian pro wrestlers. Born Natalie Katherine Neidhart, Nattie was trained by her uncles Ross and Bruce Hart in the Hart Family Dungeon. Now a glorified woman of wrestling, Natalya takes control in the ring. She also is pretty good with a controller. WWE Superstar Alex Riley has risen up through the ranks of professional wrestling to become one of the more popular leading men in the ring. Riding on the coattails of The Miz as his protege, Riley now stands tall on his own in the ring. The Fairfax, Virginia native played both football and basketball at Robinson High School and was a quarterback and linebacker at Boston College. Now the pro wrestler talks about his gaming outside of the ring in this exclusive video interview.

Cologne – WWE superstar The Miz made his first trip to Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. He was on hand to check out the latest build of THQ’s and Yuke's WWE 12 video game, which ships November 22. The Miz talks about his old school gaming days and why this latest game from THQ and Yukes is awesome, really.

Despite a recent string of down months in U.S. video game sales at retail this year, a new report from research firm Gartner paints a very rosy picture for the global video game industry. When adding in revenues from burgeoning online, mobile and digital gaming sectors, Gartner estimates that worldwide spending on the gaming ecosystem will exceed $74 billion in 2011, up 10.4 percent from the $67 billion spent last year. By 2015, spending is expected to reach $112 billion.

THQ Inc. and Zuffa, LLC today announced the first gameplay details surrounding UFC Undisputed 3, the new installment in the critically acclaimed and best-selling mixed martial arts videogame franchise based on the Ultimate Fighting Championship.  Poised to take players inside the virtual Octagon with extensive focus on intense toe-to-toe combat, impressive visual presentation and significantly increased accessibility, including the introduction of PRIDE Mode, two new weight classes and an impressive playable roster of more than 150 UFC fighters, UFC Undisputed 3 is currently in development for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system and PlayStation3 computer entertainment system, with a scheduled release timing of January 2012.
