The yearly EVO fighting event has become something of a phenomenon here in the game industry.  Last year, over two million folks tuned in to watch live fights from the Las Vegas tournament, watching the lines of Justin Wong and other elite game players take on each other in epic fashion.  This year looks to be the biggest one to date, as EVO 2012 has been announced, set to take place on July 6-8 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.


Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is still just over two weeks from release, but it's already considered one of the most highly anticipated games this holiday season -- even if EA's trying to steal a little bit of that thunder with Battlefield 3.  But Activision's making all the right decisions on this game, and we explain why it's going to be an unstoppable juggernaut once November 8th rolls around...


If you grew up gaming in the 80's like some of the staff (you know, the old curmudgeons who constantly scream, "Get off my lawn!"), you might've remembered a game show called Starcade that used to air on TBS.  The video game-oriented show aired between 1982 and 1983, with Mark Richards and Geoff Edwards hosting episodes and guiding young players through high scoring challenges on arcade games.  The show continued to be a nostalgic hit over the years, and even managed to air on G4 for a couple of years.  Now, after spending a few years in hibernation, it's making a, anyway.
