Liam McIntyre (Spartacus), the new star of “Spartacus: Vengeance,” will be introduced to Comic-Con 2011 fans in San Diego on Friday at a Starz panel. He’ll be joined by returning stars Lucy Lawless (Lucretia), Dustin Clare (Gannicus), Manu Bennett (Crixus), Katrina Law (Mira) and Executive Producer and Head Writer Steven S. DeKnight.

The E3 2011 Nintendo Press Event began with a celebration of the Legend of Zelda's 25th anniversary, complete with an orchestra and choir playing some classic tunes from the game as well as a future theme found in the latest entry into the Legend of Zelda series, Skyward Sword. Nintendo promised big things to come for their existing handheld DS, DSi, and 3DS systems, but everyone was waiting for one thing: the debut of the Wii U. April showers may be blood red this year. Mortal Kombat is coming in all forms. In addition to the new digital series from Warner Bros. Premiere and video game reboot from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Warner Home Video is bringing Blu-ray versions of Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation to retail for the first time. Ed Boon, creator of Mortal Kombat and head of NetherRealm Studios, talks about the return to Mature-rated blood, gore and violence in this exclusive video interview.

At Star Wars Celebration V, Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment announced that the complete Star Wars Saga will finally come to Blu-ray Disc with a worldwide release in Fall 2011. The Star Wars Blu-ray Box Set will feature all six live-action Star Wars feature films utilizing the highest possible picture and audio presentation, along with extensive special features – including documentaries, vintage behind-the-scenes moments, interviews, retrospectives and never-before-seen footage from the Lucasfilm archives.

Nintendo of Japan has surprised the videogame industry by announcing a brand new portable gaming device, the Nintendo 3DS (working title), which will allow gamers to play stereoscopic 3D games without wearing 3D glasses. The new gaming system will debut at the E3 show in Los Angeles June 15th and will ship in Japan during Nintendo’s next fiscal year, which ends March 2011.
