One of the more unique PlayStation Vita games available for launch on February 22 is Reality Fighters. This PS Vita brawler separates itself from the pack with its augmented reality features. The game utilizes the portable entertainment system’s front and back cameras to scan in players’ faces onto personalized avatars. After customizing every aspect of these fighters with over 400 costume pieces, 40 weapons types and multiple fighting styles, the cameras bring real backgrounds into the fold for fighting. LAS VEGAS – When it comes to driving games, Sony’s Gran Turismo franchise has been pushing the envelope for over a decade. Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 5 and its new DLC was featured at SEMA in Las Vegas this month. Reality TV stars Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez from "The Bachelorette" were on hand to give GT5 a test drive and listen to Stone Temple Pilots at the GT Awards at the Marquee nightclub at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Parrot continues to change the way games are played with its AR.Drone camera-equipped flying chopper. Following on the heels of its May release, AR.Race, the game maker is offering iOS owners a new game for free. AR.Hunter is a two-player game that sends one player into the real world in a game of hide-and-seek with the chopper on the hunt.

There were plenty of risqué costumes at Comic-Con. San Diego becomes a hotbed of Slave Leia outfits from Star Wars and cosplay babes. But normally the Con is fine with these Wonder Women and other scantily-clad outfits. It seems the line has been drawn at Aeon Flux, though, as Playboy model and reality TV star Adrianne Curry was escorted out of the convention for wearing too little. It seems the police didn’t want to have an onslaught of fan boy heart attacks. You can check out Curry’s outfits and judge for yourself below.

After seeing record ratings last year with the dramatic farewell episodes focusing on Captain Phil Harris’ fight for his life, the seventh season of Discovery Channel’s hit reality series, “Deadliest Catch,” is back on top. The Alaskan crab fishing show returned to a solid 4.3 million viewers and a 2.0 (18-49) rating on Tuesday night, which made it the top draw on cable. In addition, the two-hour premiere episode, titled “New Blood,” averaged a 2.6 (25-54) rating, second on all television only to the two “NCIS” franchises. And for the first time in the series, there’s a cross-platform video game, Deadliest Catch: Sea of Chaos, on store shelves from Crave Games. Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) today announced it will debut the original competition reality series, The Tester, on PlayStation Network for free download starting February 18, 2010. In the webisode series, 11 hopeful gamers from across the country will compete in grueling physical and mental challenges to win a position as a game tester at SCEA and a $5,000 signing bonus, all under the scrutiny of a panel of judges, including actor/comedian and diehard gamer Hal Sparks.  With the launch of The Tester, available for digital download only on PlayStation 3 (PS3™) and PSP entertainment systems, SCEA further expands the current library of original and exclusive content on PlayStation Network.
