Majesco has release NBA Baller Beats, a game that combines hit dance music with dribbling skills. The hook here is that a real Spaulding basketball comes with the game, which means gamers will learn how to improve their ball handling. They’ll also be getting a workout inside, while listening to hit music tracks. Electronic Arts is bringing EA Sports FIFA Soccer 13 out for the launch of Nintendo Wii U. NEW YORK CITY – 2K Sports and developer Visual Concepts are bringing a unique experience to Nintendo Wii U gamers. The sports game publisher has released a new digital film starring Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers. Griffin shares his NBA 2K13 MyPLAYER with the world. Gamers will be able to see how they match up with SlamDemon32 this October with the launch of NBA 2K13 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PSP, PC and mobile. A Wii U version will hit retail stores in November.

With an NHL lockout looming, Electronic Arts is opening up the sport of videogame hockey in September. For the first time ever in a professional league simulation sports video game, EA SPORTS NHL 13 has added female athletes as playable characters. Former Team USA superstar Angela Ruggiero will join former Team Canada great Hayley Wickenheiser, both four-time Olympic Ice Hockey medalists, as playable legends in NHL 13. NHL Hall of Famers Doug Gilmour, Jari Kurri, and NHL legend Dominik Hasek will also be added to the roster of legends which includes the likes of Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux. The NHL 13 demo is available for download now via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.
